A 50-word relationship.
Life With An Undertaker

Sharon and Mort have ‘his’ and ‘hearse’ matching cars. Now they’re buried in debt and are dying to urn more money by organising cremations. Competition is stiff for the work. One day Mort made a monumental grave mistake, incinerating the wrong body when he kept coffin.
The corpse are investigating.

This brief story is the final in my recent series of 50-word stories, detailing a relationship with a partner involved in a specific occupation. I have compiled 60 stories now, and enjoyed writing them very much, especially how reviewers responded to them with enthusiasm. I may write some more in future.
