Solstice

by Luna Darkwaters

Summer sun reigns long
The weather is merry
Counteracted by breezes so gentle
That carry the scents of the fully bloomed

Spend those long days outside
Enjoy the grass so green
And tastes so sweet
But Autumn comes too soon

Oh the solstice has come again
Bring out the fare
And gather your loved ones
To celebrate such a happy time

Oh the solstice has come again
Bring out the fare
And gather your loved ones
To celebrate such a happy time

Winter moons are beautiful
No matter how cold the winds blow
Crisp air is enjoyable
When smelling the trees

The food stores must be kept full
Outside play is used sparingly
In snow and on ice
Spring cannot come soon enough

Oh the solstice has come again
Bring out the fare
And gather your loved ones
To celebrate such a happy time

Oh the solstice has come again
Bring out the fare
And gather your loved ones
To celebrate such a happy time

The solstices are times of joy
The signs that times go on
Find the good times
And appreciate them

Oh the solstice has come again
Bring out the fare
And gather your loved ones
To celebrate such a happy time

Oh the solstice has come again
Bring out the fare
And gather your loved ones
To celebrate such a happy time
