Carbon Footprint

He watched the tick burrow beneath his age-spotted hand, relished the feel of a guest come to visit at last and laughed as the bloodsucking arachnid tripled in size. With his carbon footprint reduced, the responsible action for a wannabe environmentalist, would he leave no footprint at all?


As he dismounted his John Deere, top-of-the-line, Z740 tractor, parked in his attached 6-car garage, thirty-four-year-old John Green passed his helicopter on its pad and hurried along the marble walkway into the grand entrance of his multimillion dollar home.

"Honey, you were right," he said to his wife. "Let's have a baby."
