built on guilt.

by judester

Jenna wakes her sister
with a whisper in her ear,
Jessa opens hazel eyes,
replies 'good morning dear.'

She rolls the chair onto the porch
into soft summer winds,
her crippled sister unaware
of Jenna's wicked sin.

Both twins fell in love last year
with a man who came to town.
He chose Jess, above the rest
and yet loved Jenn, he found.

At the fair, now quite aware
of her fiances wicked ways.
She cut his brakes, her poor heart ached ~
but her sister drove that day.

The girls now bound forever
like southern blooms they wilt.
Her senseless act is now in fact,
her prison built on guilt.
