A Star is Born

by Dolly'sPoems

Tomorrow, I’ll become a star
a star that’s floating from afar,
bizarrely I will shine on you
although you never want me to.

When called, I will obey the word,
I heard the journey is absurd,
as birds will wave a sad goodbye,
I hear you wail, I hear you cry.

I will be gone forever, never to return,
a star at peace in heaven, there is no concern.

And yesterday, a star was born,
at dawn it faded, I’m forlorn,
a pawn among so many men,
when death repeats its rhyme again.
