We are who are choices make us.

On Becoming

Our body and soul are united in a warm dark space
Then we are born into much a brighter but colder place
We enter a world of increasing personal responsibility
Where we must begin the process building from inheritability

It is our task to construct the who we will become
Building blocks of our essence are the choices we make
Construct with good experience and not to wrong succumb
Because decisions into our very being will be our intake
 
If we learned and made the right choices
Our process of personal becoming will be
a reason to rejoice and make us worthy
Of whatever lies ahead
