In September of 2019 my daughter Penny, gave her husband Larry a birthday gift of a certificate to take a ride in a hot air balloon. They were able to use the gift on January 18,2020. I understand the balloon was making it maiden flight and the pilot took then up to an altitude of about 6,500 feet above see level. The visibility that day was 130 mines and they were able to see many wonderful sights which included seeing a snow covered mountain over 100 mines away.

Penny had flown in a balloon before, but it was a first for Larry.
