A 50-word relationship.
Life With A Zookeeper
by LisaMay
Orson brings work home – a meerkat or dog is not enough. The mess lion around is unbearably smelly. His wife, Kitty, went ape.
Orson, no sloth in the bedroom, suggested: “Let’s hiss and snake up. Wear that gnu ze-bra. How about a menagerie-a-trois?”
“I’ll never panda to that!” Kitty roared.

Author's Note:
(Thanks to Joan E for the occupation suggestion.)
"hiss and snake up" = kiss and make up
A 'menagerie' is a collection of captive animals, frequently exotic, kept for display; or the place where such a collection is kept, a precursor to the modern zoological garden. The term was first used in 17th-century France, in reference to the management of household or domestic stock.
A 'menage a trois' is a sexual threesome.
This is the 46th in a series of 50-word hypothetical romantic encounters with men in different jobs.
I hope you get a giggle out of these.
(Previous professions in the series have been Electrician, Baker, Pastor, Composer, Astronomer, Shoemaker, Dentist, Meteorologist, Carpet-layer, Psychiatrist, Accountant, Ornithologist, Travel Agent, Greengrocer, Artist, Boxer, Train Driver, Submariner, Magician, Writer, Gardener, Physiotherapist, Archaeologist, Chef, Elvis Impersonator, Hairdresser, Furniture Salesman, Cowboy, Photographer, Winemaker, Chocolatier, Carpenter, Glass Fitter, Waiter, Airline Pilot, Forestry Worker, Audio Engineer, Big Game Hunter, Farmer, Banker, Stuntman, Ballet Dancer, Gondolier, Ski Racer, Plumber.)
