a quatrain poem

gentle hum

by judester

The gentle hum of honey bees
mingle with soft showers,
pink petaled sprawling apple trees
sway above spring flowers.

Tiny pollen~flecked bee cheeks
knees crusted in gold dust.
The petals cradle what they seek
in their pollen addled lust.

Sowing seeds on flower beds
I wonder where bees roam.
A gentle hum from by the shed,
I welcome each one home.
