Endless Glory

When sorrow spreads, I’m sad, alone.
My body aches; I often groan.
My mood is sour when time delays.
The Lord, my God, deserves my praise.

In times of grief, I place my trust.
His mercy flows; He’s kind and just.
I will serve Him, adopt His ways.
The Lord, my God, deserves my praise.

My faith in God will help me cope.
My heart is filled with joy and hope.
A light of peace on stormy days,
The Lord, my God, deserves my praise.

Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains that rhyme. Each stanza (that is a quatrain) has a line that repeats, so a line from a previous stanza. That line usually (but does not necessarily have to) be the last line in the stanza. Each line in the poem has eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. Usually there are three or more stanzas. Any type of rhyme scheme can be used. More information and an example.
