Don't Be A Show-off

by LisaMay

Keep a grip or you’ll trip,
and then your hip will give you gyp.
You’ll take a tumble if you stumble –
and that will really make you grumble!
Don’t act the clown, you might fall down;
your smile will turn to a dismal frown.
Your leg might break, your head might ache.
Now for your own sake, great care please take
upon this iced-up, slippery lake.
Don’t fake your skill – a fall could kill.
You’ll fall flat, with a painful splat,
and that’ll be that!
