A Dash in The Moonlight

It was unbearably humid. Linda's ONLY covering was a sheet.
Sleep eventually overtook her concerns about the next day's garden party.
A rustling of the bedroom curtain heralded a weather change.
Linda sprung into action.
She ran out into the moonlit garden and
lowered the sunshades set up over the tables.
As she beat a hasty retreat inside, the telephone rang.
"Would Mary Poppins mind giving a repeat performance?"
Her neighbour's bedroom light was on!
