The Wrong Shop?

by Aussie

"Does this shop sell short, shot silk socks with spots?"
"Really madam, I need to think where I put them."
"If this shop sells short, shot silk socks with spots. Where are the short, shot silk socks with spots that this shop stocks?"
"Is this what you were looking for madam?
"My husband will not be impressed with yellow silk socks with red spots."
I think you need to go to the right shop, I sell all sorts of things. Perhaps you would rather have a fishing rod instead?
"I think I am in the wrong shop. Maybe you can tell me what exactly do you sell?"
"Oh, yes, I sell sporting goods of all kinds. Can I interest you in a golf club instead?
Perhaps I should have gone to Specsavers!"
"Just across the street, you can't miss it."
"Wanna make a bet?"
