A love poem

Throughout Time

Love Poem Contest Winner 


My friend and sweet companion,
hold me throughout time.
Be the man who’ll lift me up
with tenderness sublime.

Walk fiercely into fire with me
on the darkest, painful night.
Fly with me on angel’s wings
through the brightest day’s sunlight.

Whisper sentimental words
that I can cherish all my life.
Fold me in your arms so strong
and shield me from all strife.
