I’m about as far from perfect as a gal can be
I have a few faults… well, maybe a lot;
But there's one I think I really practice constantly,
I’d better tell you quick, ’fore it’s “forgot.”
 
Interrupting is, I hope, not quite a major flaw
When compared to other, larger sins,
But, it’s rude, I must admit—it sticks in people’s craw
When interrupted ’fore their story ends.
 
Talking over someone else?  Bad manners 101.
Repeated interruptions will enrage,
I’ve got to learn to “zip my mouth” and wait until she’s “done,”
And if I still remember what I interrupted for, in the conversation I’ll engage.
