My Divine Calling

The Goal?

by Badger_29

"Don't only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets; art deserves that, for it and knowledge can raise man to the Divine." Ludwig van Beethoven

There is death all around,
but  there is also life
To find Solid Ground,
man must find a wife

For every second that goes by,
there is a finite line-
the seperates our first cry,
from the day our life resigns

For every day
there is a night
For every "yea"
there is a light-

Which illuminates
the dawn of reason;
Earth Mother awaits
 the sacrificial season

She moans and groans
in anticipation-
and constantly hones
this human situation

These social interactions
are part if the scene-
The Angels sing of satisfaction,
of all that has been-

For if ALL of these things
did not exist,
I could not bring
this poetic list

And your reality
of other dimensions,
there are on fact, many
other comprehensions

There is so much more
to all we now know;
to consider that door
is an enlightening blow

For every white,
there is a black;
every front,
there is a back

Every YES,
a resounding NO;
I must confess,
as autumn winds blow

Across the expanse
of Mother Earth;
this cosmic dance
we struggle from birth

For every gift-
a sacrifice
You will feel a lift,
so don't think twice

When you are chosen,
or "called" to serve-
to be one of those in
the ones who preserve

The Holy Writ,
our credible guide
Utilize sober wit,
and don't try to hide!

For every light
there is a dark
 Strive to do right,
 you will be a spark

That will be seen
traversing this sphere
You will be keen,
so while you are here

Be your very best,
then give a bit more!
This scene is truly a test,
so give them what for!

For every noise,
there is a lull
Every choice,
there is a pull

In one of three
absrtact directions-
what will be, will be
a specific selection

So be that spark,
 getting brighter
as your ship sails,
your soul will get lighter

As the Hart pants
after the water Brooks
so my soul pants
for Thee, oh Lord

Seek the light
and you will find it
Do what is right
and when found, bind it

Around your heart
and those in the dark
will see your part
as a holy spark-

"Gravity may put the planets into motion, but without the divine Power, it could never put them into such a circulating motion as they have about the Sun; and therefore, for this as well as other reasons, I am compelled to ascribe the frame of this System to an intelligent Agent."
Isaac Newton

Recently in Sacramento are there have been a number of shootings. A 26 year old female officer was killed by Thrift Town second hand store about two months ago. Then last month, we were standing here and heard some gunshots and found out that a man had been killed and Hagginwood Park.
This is what gave me the inspiration to start this poem, which sometimes turn out much differently than I had a picture it when I started writing.

Relevant Scripture:

Psalm 42:1
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
(A Hart is a deer)

119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
