~Part 2, Chapter 2~

~Elizabeth's Omen~

Previously!

As the night draws to a close, I remember those in my past.
My passion drives me forward toward an everlasting
peace. I hear the breeze in the trees rustling through the
leaves, and feel other spirits near. Please, God, hear
my plea; then lead me to them, so we may search for the
others together like birds of a feather.

Chapter 2, Part 2

Elizabeth's intuition caused her to quickly pause.
She heard a few faint words floating on the autum breeze,
"Mama, I'm here at the bridge by the water. Are you near?"
She recognized Alexander's voice and rejoiced.

Immediately; yet alone, Elizabeth left the ol' stone house
on the hill above the bridge, then flew along the ridge
to the water. In her mind she thought of what she'd find.
Was the omen about to come true; she knew it had too.
