Windstorm

by dovemarie

Windy storm
Raging, fierce nor'easter
Feeling just like Dorothy's twister

Nimbus clouds
Threaten, floating above
Wind-swept streets scattering bundled crowds

Howling sound
Rushing throughout the town
At last sunlight flashes; wind dies down

We had a really severe nor'easter today in the New England city where I live. It inspired this poem. Thanks to Amber Clay from Pixabay.
