My mind is a
cold fireplace
in need of wood
to warm up my
imagination
Which needs a spark

A spark that
grows to an ember
that continues growing
into a flame as
words get added to it,
Ink acts an excellerant,

An excellerent that
fans the flame
and lights a path
thoughts can follow.
But the flams
dies down as
the fuel dries.

Dries up as words stop
and the fire is banked

Banked until the
next time inspiration
hits and feeds the flame
