Acrostic poem.... True Love

When First I Loved

by Raffaelina Lowcock

When first I loved
How blessed I felt and how divine
Elation burst within my heart
Never again would I despair
From the very beginning
I treasured the feeling
Remembering our first tender kiss
So deep the love so great the bliss.
To this very day I know
I have this love and it will grow
Loving is blessed when two partake
Of blissful moments shared...
Veritable stirrings throughout my being
Every pulsing fibre in my heart

Dearly together forever.

Writing Prompt
Poetry and love have been synonymous since poetry was first invented. Your acrostic poem should relate to this subject. An acrostic is a poem which spells out a word or idea. Sometimes what it spells out is the the title of the poem itself. Usually the first letter of each line spells out this key word.

The revelation of true love never leaves your heart. The heart knows! So you cherish.
