A silly one
Waiting For My Beloved
by Heather Knight
'Will you please come, please? I'm tired of waiting for you.'
'It's not my fault. He refuses to leave and you know I can't come till he goes.'
I sigh, roll up my sleeves and sit in front of my computer. I wish there was something I could do...
I have a look at the weather forecast for the next few days and see the temperatures are going down on Monday. Finally! My darling Autumn will be here soon...
'Just a few more days, sweetheart,' I say to him. As he smiles, I see a brown leaf falling off a tree just outside my window.
