Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
the life of Ferdinand de Lesseps

The two canals

by bournemouth

Ferdinand de Lesseps, a French diplomat,
Born in 1805 had links
With the son of the Egyptian king.
In these times no combat,
In 1854, the king dead, he thinks
To projects that ting
In the ears of the young sovereign.
On the isthmus, he managed the campaign
That lasted ten years,
From 1859 to 1869 with some fears
For the delays,
But inaugurated at the normal days.
Ten years later, in Panama,
A company was created,
But the climate and the elements defeated
His ambition and gave trauma
To the shareholders,
That were not all elders,
And he escaped hardly
To the jail and died cowardly.

Rhyming Poem contest entry

The life of a French diplomat that was also an engineer and that thry to find a way to link two seas and later two oceans.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
