A child's Halloween book of colors!

The Halloween Rainbow

Hey, hey, the time is here again
For those spooky fun surprises,
And there’s lots of ‘em to find when
That Halloween Rainbow rises!
 
It starts with reds in devils’ horns
And those red hot cinnamon sweets…
Pair those with some big red apples,
You’ve got sticky red candied treats!
 
And don’t forget big orange pumpkins
Or those yummy orange jelly chews…
Maybe you’ll dress as Fred Flintstone
His orange fur top’s sure to amuse!
 
Perhaps be a yellow Minion,
Disney’s Belle or some yellow duck…
Be sure there’s banana taffy
And those butterscotch disks to suck.
 
Green makes perfect complexion looks
For both Hulks and witches that call…
Best have lots of sour green apples
And spearmint gum, big packs and small.
 
Your bag of blue candy gummies
Could include sharks, bottles and bears…
Oh yeah, that cop costume in blue
Comes complete with cool badge to wear!
 
The Joker’s bright purple attire
Compliments Maleficent’s gown…
Throw in some Hershey’s Dark Kisses,
Purple fun will surely abound!
 
Such colors touched with tints of black
For bats and a vampire or two,
Complete our Halloween Rainbow
Packed with great times for me and you!
