If only

My twitter account was going bonkers, and I couldn't believe what I was reading. So I rushed home and plopped in front of the television.

There were all the talking heads revisiting what had just happened. CNN, MSNBC, Fox -- each giving its opinion, its slant on the news. It makes it difficult to get the truth, to ferret out the fake from the truth.

Flipping the remote from station to station, I finally found out what all the commotion was when I saw our president talking. His helicopter was behind him, blades rotating slowly and making it difficult to hear what was being said.

I strained and hoped I was hearing correctly.

"Everything I have done has been perfect. My dealings with Russia, with China and North Korea -- all of which have wonderful leaders -- have been on the up and up all along," the President said. "I have done nothing wrong, but I am sick and tired of all the cry babies up on Capitol Hill.

"People like Pansy Nancy and Shifty Schiff are trying to take our country down, so I say, let them do it. They can have it, then let them feel the crap you fake reporters have been dishing out. So I am resigning immediately, and leaving.

"I just bought Greenland and am moving there."

Alas, then the alarm went off, my dream came crashing down and I woke up. And another nightmare of a day began.

my computer counts it as 250 words of pure prose!!
