A man fails to recognize the help he asks for.
It's OK, God will save me

Hearing of a flood, Thomas prayed for God to save him.
With water at his knees, a boat came by: "Hop in and I will save you."
Thomas said "it's Ok, God will save me."
With water at his waist, another boat came by: "Hop in and I will save you."
Thomas said "it's OK, God will save me."
With water at his chin, a helicopter flew over: "Grab the ladder and I will save you."
Again he said "it's OK, God will save me."
Drowning, Thomas cried out, "Why?"
God said; "What?
"I sent two boats and a helicopter, and you sent them all away."
