Halloween

by Boogienights

Halloween is drawing near when grinning Jack O' Lanterns leer,

As they do one night each year.

Long ago, some centuries, the Celtics thought the veil thinned.

Letting through for just one night, spirits waiting to come in.

Only those with masks to wear could walk that night without alarm.

When demons roamed they could not see the humans, causing them no harm.

Every child just can't wait, to don their costume, roam the streets.

Even adults enjoy the night, spooky parties, tasty treats.

Nearly here, we can hardly wait for Halloween, to CELEBRATE!
