perfect love

Imaginary lover

by Iza Deleanu

He loved me for a thousand years

And sheltered me from grief and pain,

He kept me safe inside his feelings

His hands obscure me from the rain.

I worshiped him beyond the reason

He is my Love, there is no treason

The thought of you made me bleed.

It's funny how we never met

 We never wed...

One day we'll meet the changing reason

Will step in life with one creed

Will run happily through every season

We'll laugh a lot

And we will be free

We will make jokes saying :"Remember me?"

But It's funny how we never met, we never wed...
