This work has reached the exceptional level
Poem about love and our reactions.

Don't Give Up

by tempeste

When I look back at what we had
I realize we should have fought
harder to make it last.

The road of love is never easy
two hearts seeking to please
two souls in each other they believe;
yet sometimes life and its complications
take a toll 'n  create walls and divisions.

When life got tough, we said enough
in a moment of doubt, we opted for out;
instead, we should have found
a way to talk our way around
fought like hounds to keep our love sound.
