a spring poem

waves of spring

by judester

Spring peeked around the weathered barn
as pastel petals swirled.
She blew a kiss, with a feathery twist,
her laugh on the wind twirled.

I raised my mittened greeting
as chilly March winds blew.
She wanted to play, but not today ~
we must wait until winter is through.

Thanks to avmurray. Spring seems so far away here in Canada, I had to truly reminisce.
