The Moon's Embrace

Sedoka Poem Contest Winner 

Nightfall closes in.
I watch dusk's beauty arise,
waiting for the moon's embrace.

Then tears fill my eyes.
Savage is my transition.
Such is the curse of the wolf.

Write a sedoka poem. A sedoka consists of two unrhymed three-line stanzas, each with a syllable count of 5 - 7 - 7.
