Love In Old Adages

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
But it can act as the solder
That welds souls, so they don't separate
Allowing them to continue to relate.

Beauty is only skin deep
If it's part of a whole, it can keep
Two souls together
And act as a tether

Beauty is truth, truth beauty
Each works to set you free
To gain insight and power
to make love last 'til our last hour
