Villanelle

A chapter in the book

Flight of Fancy

by Bucketlist

Imagination gives you wings
Noone can take that right
You can be so many things

Bless freedom that it brings
Doesn't matter, day or night
Imagination gives you wings

Go to where your heart sings
Fly high with all your might
You can be so many things

New love which desire brings
In dreams let passion ignite
Imagination gives you wings

 Find places where hope springs
Dreams are flexible not contrite
You can be so many things

If you’re a puppet, cut strings
Life is there, dream of flight
You can  be so many things

Imagination gives you wings
