Love's Petals Pulled Apart

Stay, Leave
Only Grieve
Whatever more needs to be said?
You have killed our friendship dead.
Bitter, Sweet
Win, Defeat
Hearts Beat

Flower, Weed
Poison Seed
You have planted in this heart –
then pulled all love’s petals apart.
Joy Unfulfilled
Blood Chilled
Tears Spilled

Sun, Moon
Empty Tune
The echoes of your farewell tread
still go round my anguished head.
Your Retreat
So Complete
Drums Beat
