I'm searching looking for him
the lights on the streets are dim
but that will not deter me
No I won't stop until I see

He was a very quiet spiritual son
smoked some weed he was done
his whole demeanor suddenly changed
the devil had him unraveled deranged

He was someone we didn't know
was he family friend or foe
his hygiene became unkempt
from bathing he was exempt

His grooming always impeccable
in this case it was unacceptable
there was a hint of an odor
never smelled that before

In the days following he disappeared
something awful happened I feared
I then contacted the police
no info they would release

My only comfort they said he was alive
nothing more because he was thirty five
encouraged to file a missing person's report
since then I've felt so alone without support

If any one of you can give some advice
before he pays the ultimate price
how can I find my lost fragile son
never thought he would be the one
