Only Love

If darkness cannot drive out dark,
then light must shine to rid its mark.
More hatred cannot drive out hate,
Yes, only love can change man's fate.

When violence is prevalent
and lives become irrelevant,
the time has passed for mere debate.
Yes, only love can change man's fate.

Beneath our skins all blood flows red.
It matters not where we were bred.
We need to stem the tide of hate.
Yes, only love can change man's fate.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
