On the wall

Mirror, Mirror

by Boogienights

"Mirror, Mirror if you please,
who rhymes words with the greatest ease?"
The Mirror answered, "You're the best!"
as it eyed the hammer in my tool chest.
Mirror, Mirror state your case,
and say who has the fairest face.
The Mirror truthfully went on to say,
yours is the prettiest I've seen....Today!
I live alone and said, "Nice try!"
Not quite the truth, yet, not a lie.
"I've been the only one to preen,
in front of you, I'm all you've seen!"
"So tell me Mirror, what you really think."
The Mirror said, "Your poems all stink!"
"Good looks you definitely lack."
My Mirror sports a brand new crack.
Yard sale bound now, when last seen...
It was being bought by an Evil Queen.
