100 words flash fiction.
Alone?

What a shame? I am doomed to be the last of my kind. All alone, I stand here awaiting my demise.
What has my world become? There are no believers in magical creatures. They long ago stopped such foolishness, or so they thought.
But I am still here, as are the centaurs, the leprechauns, the fairies and all the others. Just because the foolish ones can not see us, does not mean we are gone.
Although some have.
Oh, wait, can it be? Is that another unicorn? I do hope so! I hope it is a he, not a she.
