100 word horror contest entry

Jack and Jill

100 Word Horror Contest Winner 
Jack and Jill went up the hill
to murder old man Cray,
for sins he'd done when they were young.
Least that's what legends say.

With full intent to kill they went
into his darkened home.
But so unwise, they realized
that he was not alone.

That's when they found his Mastiff hound
that snarled in viscous groans.
The savage beast then killed to feast
upon their flesh and bones.

The old man lit his fire pit.
It's said that's where they burned.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
and never then returned.
