Sainted caring Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa

by Aussie

Mother of blessed poor, sainted one
Never leaving dying, working for the One
Oh, if we could just make their day complete
Persons in her wake unite, her work so neat
Hurry yourselves, for dying sheep do bleat

ABC Poetry Contest contest entry

Recognized

ABC Contest Entry: Mother Teresa worked all her life as a nun in Calcutta. The Pope awarded her the Peace Medal. Her humility working with the poor and dying is legendary. If we could take a feather out of her cap (Aussie slang) and continue her work by saving one life, sitting with the dying, feeding the poor. I'm sure she would be smiling down from heaven above.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
