A Choice Cherry

Succulent with bliss,
ripening in this sunshine,
your sweet, smiling lips
speak of wedded warmth forever. 

Later, under melon moonlight
your true and tender touch 
makes me glow within:
our happy hearts are welded.

From your fruitbowl of pleasure
you feed me a choice cherry.
In the fullness of time
our union will bear fruit.
