"We want to. it's hard to believe."
Cheryl tried to calm her husband.
"I'm fourteen. I'm pregnant."
Her father raised his voice.
"You're denying you had sex. Tell the truth."
"An angel, Michael, said it was the second coming."
"Liar."
"You believe the scriptures, Dad."
"The Bible is the word of God!"
"Did Mary prove it?"
"Her husband accepted it."
"No husband, no proof?"
"Don't confuse history. Mary was pure."
"Dad, I am too."
"Not in my eyes. Abortion is the only solution."
"No, Dad, only time will tell. I know what I must do."
