Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
A little humour, along with the grind

Life's Daily Grind

Now, many of us wonder
what life is all about
and oft times I still ponder
so, please just hear me out.

It's drag up in the morning
and fall in bed at night.
It's all those struggles in between,
that we must daily fight.

It's Johnny's flu, Susie's sty
and hubby's drinking bouts.
It's keeping up with Jonesy
and wifey's weekly pouts.

It's off to church on Sunday,
time  for prayer and thought.
It's paying all those taxes
and things we should not bought.

Now, friends I'm here to tell you,
this life is really tough.
Let me drop a passing thought,
before you yell enough.

These trials and many others,
must never slow your pace.
For we, my friends were chosen,
to run this human race.
