an 80 word story
the bluest eyes
by judester
Tommy hit the switch and the tilt~a~whirl slowly began it's three minute spin. He could hear the loud rock music coming from the causeway and gazed wistfully at the pretty girls heading there. He hoped to catch the last set after his shift.
A woman approached the turnstile.
"Jenny?"
She had been his summer romance about five years ago, before he headed south with the fair.
She held the hand of a young boy with the bluest eyes. His eyes.
