I seek Your simplicity:
is it near or far from me?
How will I know – 
will your face show?
Or should I trust my heart,
your wisdom to impart?

Is there a God? I might find Him here.
Ask, and it shall be obtained:
the mystery explained.

Where is God? I should find Him here.
Seek, and ye shall find:
it concentrates my mind.

Here is God! I found Him near.
Knock, and it shall be unlocked:
my storeroom has been stocked.

That sets my mind aglow,
and now I truly know
that Your light is in my soul 
and it keeps me fulfilled and whole.
I honour You as I’m praying:
Your guidance will keep me from straying.
