It is one day at a time my faith does grow:
by beholding answers to prayers God bestows.
It was hard at first for me to comprehend
that my God is also my very best friend,
and it is on Him I can wholly depend:
as with me, eternity He wants to spend;
for He only desires what is best for me,
but this was something at first, I did not see.
However, once having that tiny seed sown,
like a mustard plant my faith's steadily grown.
