Live, labor, and love.
My Life in a Flash
by Jake P.
I gathered the pictures in chronological order, as best as my memory allows. A history of my life to explain who I am.
They can never convey the struggles. The celebrations. The loves that have made it so.
A girl of ten with baby fat still in my cheeks.
A young woman anticipating unlimited aspirations.
One of my marriage that defined a lifetime of happiness.
Another at middle age, proudly at work.
Then one of retirement, my life in reflection.
One holding grandkids that buoy my soul.
From youth to wrinkles. From energy to aches.
A blessed life for certain.
