More nosy questions.
A Quick Quiz
by Cass Carlton
1 What did I want to be when I grew up?
Independent. Not needing to ask anyone's permission to do anything I wanted. It took a while, but I have achieved it at long last. My husband (God Bless Him) was the last thing that held me back. Now he has gone, the world's my oyster.
2.If you could do anything for a day, what would you choose?
Well, I'll make a list or better still I'll refer to my diary.
a
Stay in bed all day , sleeping and getting up to eat. A long, warm bath late in the aftenoon and fresh jarmies. Then an early night.
b
Leave the housework (bed, dishes, laundry) and stay out in the garden ALL DAY. Come in at teatime and have a snack, a shower and fall into my (unmade) bed.
c
Watch the entire series of Game of Thrones. (Self inflicted wounds.) Bleary eyed for 5 days.
3 How often do I buy clothes?
A lot more frequently than I used to. Undies and socks once or twice a year. I go out more than I used to, so I need a top up every now and then. I made a killing in a very smart shop a couple of weeks ago when they were selling gorgeous garments for $20.00.I bought my sister a lovely top with the price tag over a$100.00 at the marked down price.
4
If you had a warning label what would it say?
Probably something along the same lines as the one on my sewing room door
"I can only please one person a day. Today is not your day.
And tomorrow's not looking real good either"
5
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Bread. Sandwiches , rolls, croissants, bagels, anything made from the grain. My complete downfall. I love bread in any shape or form. Also cake, biscuits (cookies) preferably home made.
6
If money was no object what would you do all day?
I'd spend a day at a Spa place, having every treatment they offered. Massage, facials, steam baths, manicure, Hair given the Max. What fun eh what!!
7
If you were a Super hero what powers would you have?
In the physical sense, I would love to be able to fly. In the metaphysical sense I would love to be able to heal people. Not only of wounds and illness, but of bad thoughts and evil intentions.
8.
Is my glass half full or half empty?
Overwhelmingly overflowing. I have so much bounteousness in my life. I have a safe home, my family love me and care about me. My friends are good true people whom I trust, and my husband watches over me from Heaven (in between fishing trips with his father and our son Heath who died in 2000) So I feel very blessed and fortunate in my life.
