50-word story offering
Just Another Friday Night
by Y. M. Roger
“Final Call!”
Dan hollered through his small-town tavern.
The lifelong friends approached the bar.
“Who and how many times?”
“Felicity.” Dan smirked, knowingly. “Four.”
Hank winced, sighing. “Grandkids're here.”
Everyone nodded their understanding. Definitely final call – Hank had to go home.
“Next round’s for you, bud!”
Laughter followed Hank out.
