A short one.
He Left
by Heather Knight
He told me we'd be together for ever and I tried to believe him. After all, we were a perfect match.
He said he would never leave me and I had no reason to doubt him. I knew he was my other half.
And now he's gone... I can't control my anguish. My tears flow freely and nothing can stop them.
I wonder where he is... I'd give anything to find him.
The maid has looked inside the washing machine, the laundry basket and the drawers in the master bedroom.
I didn't want to believe it, but it seems there really is a curse on us socks.
