off my safe sounding board
a bridge of sighs for your hopes
your musical notions

Bounce your light
your crystal vision through tears
that sparkle like diamonds
beyond my self-absorbed dark

Bounce your beach ball
your colourful need for fun
on this packed strand
my gritty grains make castles

Bounce your pebbles
wrist-flicked to touch and go
across this width of water
they skip and skim

Bounce your trampoline
spring high, soaring,
leaping, tumbling so free
I’m here to catch you

Bounce your breasts
we’ll travel the globe tonight
I’ll hold your offered heart
in love’s embrace

Bounce our baby
child of our yearning years
linking our lives to hers
held in future hands
